Basic Individual Instrument Course

  • The individual instrument course is designed for the student to learn one of the following instruments: Piano, Singing, Violin, Sax, Guitar, Drums, Bass, Trumpet, Composition, Production, among others.
  • This basic course has a duration of 2 years / 4 semesters.
  • Each semester consists of 20 classes, each lasting 50 minutes.
  • Registration and start of classes are open all year round.
  • Schedules are assigned according to the availability of the student and the school teachers.
  • We provide the necessary material for the good development of the classes:
    – Sheet music in paper or PDF format

     

    – Charts in paper or PDF format

    – Tracks for student internships – Online

    – Explanatory videos of each class (20 classes) – Online

    – Definitions of the topics per class (theoretical) – Online

All of the above will be stored on the Web, organized by Semester, Instrument and Class number.

Comprehensive Music Program

 

The objective of this comprehensive program is that students can learn individual instrumental performance, connected with other skills, such as 

  • Applied Music Theory
  • Ear Training
  • Instrumental ensemble
  • Instrument (Individual)
 

The individual instrument course is designed for the student to learn one of the following instruments: Piano, Singing, Violin, Sax, Guitar, Drums, Bass, Trumpet, Composition, Production, among others.
This basic course has a duration of 2 years / 4 semesters.

The student will be able to easily expand their knowledge, by having the theoretical and practical tools necessary to understand music and will be able to put it into practice with other students, through the instrumental and choral ensemble.

Band and Choir Program

JCY Music School offers programs for vocal and instrumental groups.
The objectives are to improve the instrumental and vocal quality of the band members, offering individual and group technical training.
Improve ensemble quality.

Work with harmonies, rhythmic styles and forms of musical interpretation depending on the style you want to play.
When necessary, each member works individually; later the musical ensemble is made up of all the members: singers and musicians.

Introduction to Music for Children 3-5 Years Old

This course is designed for children between 3 and 5 years old.
The main objective is for children to explore and develop their musicality through musical games, rhythm, melody and ear recognition.
Additionally, we prepare them so that when their basic period of two years ends, they can begin playing the instrument that most attracts them.

Live Sound Course

Our Live Sound Program offers students the knowledge and skills necessary to manage and operate sound systems for live events.

We offer theoretical-practical classes where each student can develop their knowledge by practicing directly on the spaces, consoles, speakers, microphones, etc.

Objectives:

To understand the fundamentals of sound theory and acoustics.

To gain proficiency in using sound equipment, including mixers, microphones, speakers, and amplifiers.

To develop skills in mixing, equalization, dynamics processing, and effects.

To learn the principles of sound system design and setup for various venues.

To practice troubleshooting and problem-solving in live sound scenarios.

To experience real-world applications through hands-on training and live event execution.

Program Description:

A live sound program study is designed to be comprehensive and practical. It typically includes:

  • Lectures on audio principles, equipment, and live sound techniques.
  • Hands-on workshops where students work with professional-grade sound equipment.
  • Live sound practicums, often involving actual events, where students apply their learning in real-time.
  • Collaborative projects that simulate working with artists, event organizers, and other sound engineers.
  • Industry insights from experienced professionals in the field.
  • Final projects that require students to demonstrate their ability to plan, set up, and run a live sound system for an event.

The program may also cover topics such as stage management, monitor systems, wireless audio technology, and recording live performances. The goal is to prepare students for careers in live sound engineering, whether for concerts, church services, corporate events, or other live settings
